Philosophy
LIFT is named after the Llano Uplift, one of many ancient geological features of Central Texas. Five different biomes converge in Central Texas making it a unique place where ideas, people, and events have met for thousands of years. As urbanization continues to expand rapidly, preserving and enhancing the distinctiveness of our region’s ecosystems is imperative. This will be achieved through increasing urban shade, reducing energy consumption, conserving water, improving soil health, supporting biodiversity, and promoting local economies. Landscapes for Texans, crafted by Texans. Hecho en Texas.

Mission
We strive to create resilient spaces that blur nature and the built environment. We design and create sustainable landscapes that enhance the natural environment and improve the quality of life for people and communities. We are committed to using permaculture principles and passive design approaches for cost effective solutions with overall maintenance in mind. Keeping in line with our vision, we craft your project by regionally sourcing native plants and recycled/sustainable materials.
Vision
Sustainable and resilient land development projects using nature-based solutions to reduce water consumption, Improve stormwater quality, reduce soil erosion, increase habitat value and ultimately enhance landscape resilience.

Our Approach
We collaborate with clients, stakeholders and the community, as well as gain an understanding of the site and its context. Our design process involves analyzing the site's natural features and any existing issues, we first talk about a budget and then develop a design plan guiding the client from Design development through construction documentation, selecting appropriate plants and materials, and ensuring that the project is built using sustainable construction methods.
